'Community First' Nominates Hikind As ... - Yeshiva World News

The following is a press release from ?Community First?:

?Community First? a group of active voters in the district headed by it?s founder, Reb Nachman Caller delivered this morning 2,400 signatures of voters in the community ? who have enthusiastically pledged to support Assemblyman Dov Hikind on the ?Community First? party line in Nov.

Assemblyman Dov Hikind, in his 30 years of public service has delivered for the community, and has a proven record standing up and speaking out for Jewish values whenever time demanded it.

Since Hikind is running unopposed, as the only serious candidate for the 48th assembly seat, it relies upon us to assure that he get?s reelected with an overwhelming support, so that he can continue serving the community, and advocate for the principles that ?Community First? has set as priority goals for the next decade.

Our 3 main principles that will ultimately benefit the entire community are: Affordable housing, vocational training and job creation.

?Community First was founded to represent the community?s interests without party affiliation,? Reb Nachman Caller said in a statement outside Assemblyman Hikind?s District office. ?Our goal is to represent the community?s views and have political parties follow our views rather than vis-?-vis.? he added.
