Sometimes going straight to the top is the way to get around customer service roadblocks, but the folks at The Consumerist, have a suggestion for Verizon Wireless customers who are sick and tired of customer service woes: Get in touch with your "Region President" to get executive level help on a local scale.
The key is to find out which executive is responsible for your region, and then focus in on them instead of going right to the top. Ultimately, it may be that President's issue eventually anyway. You can find your regional executive at Verizon Wireless' Region Leadership page. Just browse for your part of the country (US only, as VZW is a US carrier) and when you find the appropriate person, click to view their profile. They should have a contact link at the bottom where you can send them an message via the site's contact form.
The Consumerist (and their inside source) both note that it's important to only do this after you've tried to get your issue resolved by customer service first, and only after that's failed. In your message, you should include the steps you took already to get the issue resolved, and why you need their help. Otherwise, you may get a form response that you should just contact customer service. It's not necessarily a new trick, but it still works like a charm as long as you know how to complain properly.
